Sheryl founded Bisou Natural, an eco-friendly direct-to-consumer brand in May 2019, where she built and scaled the startup’s influencer program to 1,000 micro-influencers in 6 months, with an average of 30 influencers posting daily one month before Christmas.
Before founding Popcorn Growth and Bisou Natural, she was Vice President for FinEx Asia, a leading Fintech in Asia, where she built the company’s presence in Singapore. She also founded The Corporate Sanctuary, a social enterprise that trains People with Disabilities and matches them with job opportunities.
Prior to that, she was in J.P. Morgan for 7 years, where she started her career in Asset Management. She managed a book of USD 80MM for ultra-high net worth clients by the age of 26.
Sheryl graduated from Singapore Management University with Summa cum Laude Honors, and was on the Dean’s List for all academic years. She received the Lee Kong Chian Book Prize for being the top student. She was President for the AIESEC International Symposium. She wrote her Masters thesis on Efficient Market Hypothesis at Mannheim University in Germany, where she was a Li & Fung Scholar.
She starred in National Geographic's "Safari Brothers", playing the role of a city transplant in the wilderness.
Clara is Co-founder and Chief Data Scientist at Popcorn Growth. She is responsible for training and deploying Popcorn Growth’s in-house machine learning model to identify influencers that are hyper-relevant to individual brands, informed by Popcorn Growth’s proprietary Circle of Influence methodology.
She was Executive Director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where she managed the Bank’s multi-asset discretionary portfolio. Her quantitative background allows her to instill data-driven discipline and performance marketing rigor to influencer marketing strategies.
Prior to J.P.Morgan, she was a research analyst at Goldman Sachs where she covered the Technology and Internet sector.
She holds a Masters in Data Science from Harvard University. She is a CFA Charterholder.
In her spare time, she is mom to 3 dogs- a Shiba Inu, a Pomeranian and a Maltese.
